The Word of God

The Catholic Bible includes 73 books: 46 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. The additional seven books in the Old Testament (the Deuterocanon) were part of the Greek Septuagint used by the early Church.

NABRE: New American Bible, Revised Edition (used in US liturgy).
Douay-Rheims: The classic English translation from the Latin Vulgate.
