The Language of the Faith

Apostolic Succession: The uninterrupted transmission of spiritual authority from the Apostles through successive bishops.

Magisterium: The teaching authority of the Church, held by the Pope and bishops in communion with him.

Transubstantiation: The change of the whole substance of bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ.
